Many of you that know me, know my faults, my character insufficiencies, my lack of being able to clean out my travel coffee mug before it starts to rot. A big round of applause should go to Miss V. for personally taking it upon herself to clean out the cupholders in my car....she risked her life as she had to battle with old iced tea that leaked through the Wendy's cup and battery acid (the tea of course mixing w/the battery that was lying in the holder to the point of erosion and corrosion in essence making a very deadly mixture!). This morning I wanted to make a cup of coffee to take with me on the train. The last concoction I had put in my carry mug was a protein shake (quite delicious). Being strapped for time I couldn't do the BEST most thorough job of scrubbing the mug. I poured the coffee ran to the train and then caught a whiff of a rather repulsive smell. It was my mug. It smelled like death. No way was I going to drink this coffee. I had to hide the smell so I put the mug in my bag, making sure the bag was closed tight. *sniff sniff* UGH! I still smelled it! There is nothing worse than being smelly in public...scratch that, there's nothing worse than being smelly in public in a small confined area jammed with people who won't hesitate to announce loudly to the entire car "OH GOD WHAT IS THAT SMELL!?!?" I could still smell it because it had somehow LATCHED onto my hands!! My fingers now contained the smell of death so I did what any other person would have done... I hid them in my pockets. First however I reached into my bag to see if I had any lotion I could put on to cover up the funkified fingers...I only had deodorant...so I gave that a whirl. No good. At least my hands won't sweat. I spent the entire ride with my hands jammed into my sleeves and in my pockets. I made it to work where I proceeded to wash my hands. The smell is STILL THERE. I am dousing my hands in Hand Sanitizer from Duane Reade. Just another great way to start off a Monday. Funky.

ROFL!!!! Well, at least you can feel some compassion for the next person you notice on the train who smells funky and has that look of horror... the "Oh no I smell funky today" look. Too bad, most people who smell funky don't even know they do.
HAHA!! Did people really yell that out on the train? I am hoping not.
One time I was carrying an envelope from work and it got wet...it was POURING rain...and when it got wet for some reason it smelled really bad. This one older black woman was standing near me and was like "what da HELL is that SMELL!?!? SOMETHIN STINKS!!" Other people ignored the smell and I tried to pretend I wasn't holding an envelope with rotting corpses in it...I don't know WHY it smelled, it was a weird envelope.
That sounds like some dangerous paper.
It was recycled paper!
